i know they are playin at red rocks with zztop but the tickets are outrageuosly priced through ticketmaster
I'm not sure how many Stray Cats fans we have in here. But I was wondering if anyone has info on the summer tour they are doing. I was looking at the site and the show in Irvine shows to check back for tickets and just about everywhere has tickets on sale now. Does anyone have some info on this.

Check the ZZ Top site it appears that they are the headliner and thus the ticket information as far as sale dates are posted there first. I know they are doing Irvine, but on Lee Rocker's site he had mentioned a few LA area dates.
Wolfpits: Couldn't have said it any better myself. Setzer never seizes to amaze me. This thread is now partially dedicated to our favorite Setzer vids.

go go go
The tour is sponsored by a radio station (Jack-FM). The tour itself is called Jackfest. Tickets for most of the shows went on sale about a month ago. The bill varies slightly by city. Joan Jett is on only one of the dates. I'm going to Ba;timore. That day includes the Stray Cats, The Pretenders, REO Speedwagon, and ZZ Topp. Tickets were a bit high in comparison to Social D. anyway. After charges, etc., I believe they were $86 each.
for the colorado date, there is a VIP ticket for $400 available....i can only imagine what that would include for that price
I got tickets for the San Antonio show at Verizon Wireless Amp. with ZZ Top and The Pretenders too. My tickets were $65.00 after a steep $10.00 service charge... I wish Social D. would tour with the Stray Cats... That would be a bill with The Reverend Horton Heat opening!
Im sure most of you have seen this, but this will make any guitar player blow their load. Long live Setzer!

Watching Brian Setzer play guitar makes me shoot my wad. Ive been playing now for almost 15 years and he defenitely has been near the top of my short list of guitar heros alongside Stevie Ray and Jimmy Vaughn, Gary Rossington, Alan Collins, and Steve Gains, Angus Young, and Jimi Hendrix.

I just feel like I won't have a good time, with no offense to the band, its more the setting... I'll go shoot pool at a dive bar and put them on the jukebox.
